Get a first-hand look at how craft beers are concocted at Canada's first and only teaching brewery, where Niagara College students complete courses in beer production, brewery management and product marketing. Each tour of this 1,500 sq. ft. microbrewery includes a look at the facility's large-scale brewing system, capable of producing up to 1,000 litres of beer, as well as the smaller pilot system for making experimental and special brews. Knowledge is imparted on the brewing processes, then temporary "students" for the day get rewarded for good listening with four tastings each.

Niagara College Brewery shares an address with Niagara College Teaching Winery, the only licensed teaching winery in Canada where award-winning VQA wines are produced. Meander around the property and check it out; tours are also available here.
