Step back 200 years in time with your voucher valid for a family pass to Lang Pioneer Village Museum. Lang Pioneer Village Museum is an outdoor museum that features over 25 restored and recreated buildings typical of a small 19th-century village. Lang Pioneer Village is complete with lanes and pathways, farm animals, vegetables and herb gardens as well as other authentic details for a 19th-century hamlet. Costumed interpreters roam the historic village demonstrating the trades and pastimes of an early settler in Peterborough County such as blacksmithing, carpentry, open-hearth cooking and more. The site also boasts a full operational Grist Mill where visitors can see whole wheat ground into flour and purchase a bag as a souvenir of their visit.

In addition to the historic village, Lang Pioneer Village has a beautiful picnic area on the historic Indian River, a food booth and a museum shop which sells a selection of books, old-fashioned toys and candy, locally-made gift items and more. From bygone chores to fireside fare, heritage traditions and celebrations, each day at Lang offers something new. They also offer an afternoon tea during July and August. From 1pm - 3pm (excluding special event days) visitors can enjoy a steaming cup of freshly brewed tea and a treat at a small additional cost in the historic Keene Hotel. While not a part of today's WagJag, workshops, special events and various other programs are also available.
