Inspired by the remarkable life and art of French sculptor Auguste Rodin, Rodin is the latest masterpiece in ballet from Eifman Ballet St. Petersburg. Visionary choreographer Boris Eifman has created a contemporary performance where dance and sculpture come together and find an unprecedented camaraderie in a modern ballet of love, lust and jealousy, all set to the music of French composers such as Saint-Saens, Massenet and Ravel. Rodin takes to the stage a scant three evenings at the Sony Centre, with each performance beginning at 7:30pm.
