A one-hour semi-private slingshot lesson by a certified coach for one, two or four people including the use of all equipment.
Description
If there were a zombie apocalypse, we would all do well to be trained with a crossbow like Darrel from Walking Dead, but let’s face it: that might not be feasible for some of us. Instead, you can turn to Bart Simpson for inspiration and learn how to use a slingshot with today’s WagJag from Barefoot Bushcraft:
Learn how to use a slingshot with this one-hour lesson taught by NCCP trained coaches at Barefoot Bushcraft. This course outlines how to use a traditional slingshot, a form of catapulting small stones or balls long distances. The experienced coaches walk participants through various slingshot varieties and their purpose, then demonstrate proper stance, arm position, muscle use and aiming strategies to fire off the perfect shot. This activity offers numerous benefits by building stamina, hand-eye coordination, intuitive sensibility and patience. Rest assured that Barefoot Bushcraft adheres to Ontario Physical Education Safety guidelines so that people young and old can partake with little risk. Lessons are outside so dress appropriately. The company also offers lessons in archery and urban survival if you really want to prepare for a zombie situation.
