Everyone knows that the best Italian food is made by nonnas and nonnos that are at least 70 years old. It’s just the way it is. Is it love that makes it better? Just like Nonna, Trocadero has been around a long time. Having celebrated their 70^th anniversary this past June, they have certainly taught Hamilton a thing or two about Italian cuisine, starting with an introduction to pizza. Even into their 70^th year, Trocadero strives to maintain the culinary traditions first introduced in 1944. With homemade dishes and fresh ingredients, all prepared with meticulous skill, it’s easy to believe you’re enjoying Nonna’s cooking.

Appetizer (shared)

• Bruschetta and garlic toast with a mini charcuterie of olives, various artisan cheeses and meats

Salad (shared)

• Choice of ceasar or garden vegetable salad with mixed greens

Main courses (choose one per person)

• Mezzi Rigatoni smothered in a hot Italian sausage and Bolognese tomato sauce, topped with roasted red peppers and field mushrooms
• Chicken Linguine Amatriciana in a tomato sauce filled with pancetta, caramelized onions, garlic, cherry tomatoes and hot peppers
• Wild Mushroom, Milk-fed Veal in a light demi à la whisky, accompanied by fettuccine alfredo, peppers and peas
