Description
Lions, tigers and baboons, oh my… okay, maybe that’s not exactly how it goes, but baboons are just as cool as bears (if not cooler). Get up close and personal with fascinating creatures with today’s WagJag from the Bowmanville Zoo:
Enjoy an all-day admission pass to the zoo for access to animal rides, the Animatheatre show, the splash pad and a bunch of different rides and attractions. Experience the thrill of seeing animals such as reindeer, wolves, ponies, lemurs, kangaroos, tortoises, lions, jaguars, zebras, tigers, camels, pigs and many more. For an additional fee, interact one-on-one with jungle cats and cubs with a 30-minute up-close encounter.
The Eco Adventure Camp is a sure way to keep kids occupied this summer, allowing children age five to 12 explore themes such as biodiversity, predators and endangered species. The camp runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm and each week highlights a different theme. Kids have the chance to go behind-the-scenes to meet animal experts and the animals they work with. Children explore the natural world in an up-close and personal way at the camp where games, hands-on activities, simulations, live animal visits, tours and crafts all play a part in the educational and fun experience.
