Camp Nokomis is a residential children's summer camp located just outside Fergus, Ontario and is home to boys and girls from ageas 7 - 16 all summer!

Each child has a right to feel safe and secure. Nokomis endeavours to allow each child to grow emotionally, socially and spiritually in a caring and supportive environment.

All living things are inter-connected; Camp Nokomis hopes that campers learn trust, tolerance and co-operation through a program that nurtures these ideals.

Details:
  • Camp Nokomis offers supervised swimming in a heated pool, plus lessons in the Red Cross Aqua-Quest program
  • They also get to participate in canoeing, water regattas, archery, fishing, creative games, arts & crafts, and more!
  • Campers enjoy campfires, cook-outs, nature walks, camp crafts, orienteering, and Sunday Chapel
  • Boys and girls also get to put on skits, sing songs, participate in cabin-group activities, and "Nokomis Live" performances

Accommodations:
  • Campers, as well as their leaders, are lodged in clean spacious cabins with bunk beds
  • Washrooms have flush toilets, hot water and showers
  • The kitchen staff serves wholesome meals in the dining hall
  • The kitchen facilities are inspected and licenced by the Health Department each summer
  • An extra 13% tax fee payable directly to merhcant at time of redemption
  • ALSO INCLUDES: tuck and t-shirts!

Medical Care:
  • A Registered Nurse oversees the camp’s Wellness Director
  • The camp doctor and Hospital (Groves Memorial) are located in Fergus 10 minutes from camp

Transportation:
Bus service is available TO Camp Nokomis on June 29, July 20, and August 3; buses depart from the MasterCard Center (400 Kipling Ave) at 11:00 am sharp. Bus service is available FROM Camp Nokomis on July 20, August 3, and August 24; buses depart from Nokomis at 9:00 am and arrive at the MasterCard Center at 10:00 am.
