Description
Inspired by traditions started in Munich over 200 years ago, Toronto's Oktoberfest captures the essence of Bavarian festivities through authentic food, drink and merriment. Experience a taste of Bavarian tradition with today's WagJag. Choose from the following options for tickets to Toronto Oktoberfest on Friday, September 27, 2013:
- $18 for 1 general admission for the early session from 4:30pm to 8:30pm (must enter by 6:30pm, up to a $30 value)
- $21 for 1 general admission for the late session from 8:30pm to 12:30am (must enter by 10:30pm, up to a $30 value)
Raise your heavier-than-usual glass as you toast to an age-old Bavarian tradition right here in Toronto. Toronto Oktoberfest features a large selection of German and European bier, including the world-famous Hofbrau, award-winning Weihenstephan, Polish lager Lech and more. Stick to suds or try a glass of German wine or cocktail made with Berentzen, Germany's apple schnapps; either way, every sip tastes better when complemented with pretzels, Piller's sausages and other European fare prepared by Petite Thuet French bakery. Entertainment for the evening is provided by none other than Mr. Oktoberfest himself, or more formally, George Kash, whose performance may or may not include drinking two beers while standing on his head.
