About Eganridge Inn & Country Club
A golf game is made all the more pleasant when you need not go far afterwards to rest your weary head, or weary swinging arm. Get your winks close to the links with a WagJag at Eganridge Inn and Spa, which gives you the option just to play or to stay and play:
- Option 1: $39 for 18 holes for 2 (a $78 value)
- Option 2: $129 for 18 holes for 2 and a 1-night stay in a terrace room including continental breakfast (a $275 value)
Highlights of the Course
This nine hole, par 35 course is set on rugged and rolling terrain. You'll play through more than 3,000 yards of thick trees and unspoiled wetlands, encountering the challenging dogleg shift of the third hole, the pine-bisected fairway of the sixth and the stunning maple-dotted views of the ninth.
Tips for Success on the Greens
The ninth and final hole at Eganridge is a challenging par 4 that spans 396 yards. Management says to make sure your tee shot moves right to left over a pond and marsh area. A shot too far to the left will find you out of bounds in an environmentally-protected area, while one too far to the right might leave you behind a wall of large pines. Careful approaching the two-tiered elevated green - it's gaurded by a bunker, so shots left short will trickle down into the collection area to the right of the green.
Eganridge's golf-themed amenities include a pro shop located in the lower level of the original estate barn, complete with showers, towel service, change rooms, club storage, a snack bar and licensed patio.
To Please the Golfer's Palate
Appetites are satiated with light snacks at the clubhouse or at Eaganridge's pine-paneled dining room, which offers views of charming Bobcaygeon scenery. If you're around for lunch, try the crispy flatbread pizza. To refuel after a long day on the course, sup on cider-braised Ontario pork belly or Mediterranean ravioli. Take a look at the menus here.
