H&R Block's Tax Training School gives students the knowledge needed to confidently calculate, claim and deduct for themselves and others come tax time. This comprehensive course consists of 39 hours of personal tax return training, followed by 30 hours of computer tax software training. In small groups of no more than 30 students, tax-whiz instructors guide students through the financial waters. Personal tax prep classes have students working directly with an instructor, textbook and manual forms, moving on to computer work in the software lessons. Students sharpen their pencils to meet twice a week for 11 weeks in three-hour sessions, or once a week for six hours on weekends. Clear off some desk and brain-space, because each class comes with homework assignments that will be graded.
