What You Get
If your definition of wildlife (noun, often attributive) refers to Saturday afternoon mall shoppers and Friday night city slickers, today's selection of WagJags from Toronto Adventure Inc. offers city dwellers the chance to renew and refresh their view of city adventure:
- $25 for a 2-hour intro to kayaking for 1 person in a single person kayak (a $50 value)
- $50 for a 2-hour intro to kayaking for 2 people in a 2-person kayak (a $100 value)
- $50 for a 2-hour intro to canoeing for 2 people in a 2-person canoe - 1 small child may also fit (a $100 value)
- $75 for a family 2-hour intro to canoeing for 2 adults and up to 3 children, or 3 adults in one canoe (a $150 value)
- $245 for a team building or large group intro to canoeing or kayaking for 10 or more - may add $25 per person for additional people (a $495 value)
Float your boat with your choice of a kayak or canoe adventure on the gentle Humber or Rouge River. The variety of options available allow you to come on your own, bring a friend, the family or a group of up to 10 people (corporate or private, add $25 for each extra person beyond 10) to meander through the slow moving, scenic forest and marsh on the Humber or Rouge River. Each option provides beginners with a paddling lesson before launching your kayak or canoe (with an experienced guide to help you along the way) for a 2-hour river adventure. Paddlers will have the chance to see Canada Geese, ducks, White Egret, Blue Heron, deer, fox, carp, bass, many types of turtles, swans, salmon, muskrat and many more creatures.
The Humber River is just 10 minutes (walking) from the Old Mill TTC station. The Rouge River is located in Scarborough at the Glenn Rouge Campground. Parking is available at both locations. Upon receiving your voucher, you'll be directed to a link where you can reserve your paddling adventure at the gently flowing river of your choice. Each adventure ends back at the starting location.

Rouge River - Toronto's east end, Glenn Rouge Campground, off Kingston Rd. between Whites Rd. and Port Union Rd.
