Keeping children healthy and active in the summertime often turns into a battle against the oppressive forces of video games, computers and TV. Today's WagJag offers up a dance, dance revolution for the junior set, with a week of camp for a kid aged 6-12 for $139 at CDA Dance Academy (a $285.85 value).
CDA Dance Academy's got just the week for young'uns with dancin' feet. This summer, let a lucky munchkin (high) kick up a storm during one of the following weeks:
- Ages 6-8: Mini/Jr. Improvement Camp, July 9-13
- Ages 7-12: Do You Think You Can Dance Camp, weeks of July 9, 16, 23, 30 or August 13, 20, 27
- Ages 6-12: Intensive Competitive, weeks of August 13, 20
- Ages 8-12: Ballet Technique Camp, week of August 6
All classes include the administration fee, plus the cost of costume rentals for the final showstopper. Before and after care is also available for an extra charge, and keep in mind that kiddos will have to bring their own lunches.
CDA Dance Academy is a one-stop shop for stepping out, with classes in hip hop, tap, jazz, musical theatre, Afro and break dance. Weekend theme parties are also available, as are half and full day princess camps (not included in this WagJag).
