What You Get
They say, "let sleeping dogs lie," but let's be frank: if you let sleeping dogs lie, then they'll never, ever learn to become honest, upstanding members of society. And you'll have to listen to the most preposterous stories about who chewed a hole through your new Nikes. Curb bad behaviour early with today's WagJag, for a six-week training class for your pooch for only $59 from Cultured K9 (a $130 value).
Cultured K9 offers weekly classes for the edification of the canine nation in Simcoe. Choose from courses such as Puppy 1 (Baby Steps), which covers sit, down, stand and more; Beginner Obedience (Toddlers and Teenagers), which features the same program as Baby Steps, but for the more mature crowd; Intermediate Obedience: Look What I Can Do!, which covers hand signals, targeting and more; and an introduction to agility class called Fungility. Each class is designed to teach owner and pet alike in a gentle, caring manner, with a minimum of dogma (all puns intended). Courses run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm or 7pm and Saturdays at 10am or 11am, depending on class sizes (limited to 3-6 pups) and preferences. See below for locations.
Cultured K9 owner and instructor Christy MacMartin is a highly educated expert in animal behaviour and has been working with and training dogs for nine years.
