What You Get
While dogsled travel is optimal for covering snowy ground, and dolphin-sled travel gets you through the ocean faster than a piggyback from a mermaid, land-based animal travel is best done atop a horse. Giddy up with today's WagJag: $29 for 2 English riding lessons at Tarwin Farm.
Tarwin Farm provides indoor and outdoor equine education in English riding. Mounted atop a noble steed, riders of all ages learn the correct way to saddle up, trot, canter and balance a cup of tea while swinging a polo mallet. Located minutes from Brampton in Caledon, Tarwin Farm's spacious pastoral setting gives riders plenty of space to gallop around. Instruction is provided by the skilled hands of top level hunter jumper Sandy McLoughlin. A trainer with over 25 years of experience, Sandy has worked with some of the top humans and horses on Canada's English riding scene. Her patience and experience helps newbies get comfortable in the saddle as they learn to navigate around the ring, or experienced horsepeople finesse the finer parts of their technique.
