Dean Oros' workshops let aspiring and experienced photographers learn from one of the most creative child, family and lifestyle photographers in the industry. Workshops are taught by Dean Oros, not associate photographers.

Option one is for the "My First Camera: Essentials 1 for Everyone" workshop. To get the most out of any camera, every photographer needs to understand light and the basics of how a camera works. Combining theory and photo-walk instruction, you'll learn the essentials of available light and the major functions of a camera including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. You'll also leave with knowledge about Photoshop editing, lenses, shooting RAW and JPEG, and how to capture moving subjects.

Option two is for the "My First Camera: Essentials 2 for Everyone" workshop. In this workshop you will take what you learned in Essential 1, and start to develop your "vision"; learn more about camera flash and strobes, how to better photograph subjects as three dimensional objects, and more, all in a hands-on, interactive environment. This is not a beginners' class, and requires that you have completed Essentials 1, or can demonstrate an appropriate skill level.
