Camp Nokomis is a residential children's summer camp located just outside Fergus, Ontario, and is home to boys and girls from ages 6 - 16 all summer!
Each child has a right to feel safe and secure. Nokomis endeavors to allow each child to grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually in a caring and supportive environment.
All living things are interconnected; Camp Nokomis hopes campers learn to trust, tolerate, and co-operation through a program that nurtures these ideals.

Details:
- Camp Nokomis offers supervised swimming in a pool by a certified lifeguard
- They also participate in canoeing, water regattas, archery, fishing, creative games, arts & crafts, and more!
- Campers enjoy campfires, cook-outs, nature walks, camp crafts, orienteering, and Sunday Chapel
- Boys and girls also get to put on skits, sing songs, participate in cabin-group activities, and "Nokomis Live" performances
Accommodations:
- Campers, as well as their leaders, are lodged in clean spacious cabins with bunk beds
- Washrooms have flush toilets, hot water and showers
- The kitchen staff serves wholesome meals in the dining hall
- The kitchen facilities are inspected and licensed by the Health Department each summer
- An extra 13% tax fee payable directly to merchant at time of redemption
- ALSO INCLUDES: tuck and t-shirts!
Medical Care:
- A Registered Nurse oversees the camp’s health and wellbeing
- The camp doctor and Hospital (Groves Memorial) are located in Fergus 10 minutes from camp
Transportation:
Car Drop Off: families can drop off their campers at Camp Nokomis’ entrance on the first Saturday of each session between 1pm and 3pm.
Car Pick Up: families can pick up their campers at Camp Nokomis’ entrance on the last Saturday of each session between 10am and 12pm.
