What You Get
Kids are always happy to hear that The Ex is in town, while adults may have to have some clarification to ensure that it's not the person they're thinking of - the one with the wagon wheel coffee table. Adults and kids alike are happy with today's WagJag, for admission to The Ex for only $8 on Sunday, August 21 (a $16 value).
Your WagJag voucher is a ticket to the party of the summer in Toronto - make that all of southern Ontario. The first Sunday of the Canadian National Exhibition features the International Sand Sculpture Competition, the TTC Busker Competition and the Ambassador of the Fairs Finals, where representatives vie to become the CNE's representative and all agricultural fairs for the next year. The Black Angels African Acrobats, all the way from Kenya, will present a riveting performance featuring Vertical Pole Acrobatics, Limbo-Mambo, Rope Jumping Tricks, Juggling, Human Pyramids and more. Musical performances by The Stew, Gunz N' FN' Rosez and Villamarka will happen throughout the day.
The daily events that make The Ex what it is are all right there for your viewing and riding pleasure: the midway, with over fifty rides including the Ferris Wheel, Wave Swinger, Zipper and more; the ever-popular SuperDogs with this year's show BITE IT: Youll Be Smitten Not Bitten; and The Farm, featuring sheep shearing and cow milking demonstrations. All this, plus a garden show, casino, horse show and much more await you at The Ex this year.
PS: You can make it a whole-weekend kind of deal with half-priced tickets for Saturday, too.
