What is Bowen Therapy & How safe is it? 

Bowen Therapy is a gentle manual therapy, in which subtle but precise moves are preformed over the muscles and connective tissues. You cannot affect one part of the body without affecting something else. Bowen Therapy is completely non invasive!  It is safe for everyone from newborns to the elderly including expectant mother.

The Bowen Technique offers tremendous benefit to clients with very little effort on the part of the practitioner. It can provide relief for many types of injuries and other health problems, both acute and chronic, and it does so holistically, via the body's innate healing mechanisms. The practitioner's moves deliver signals to the nervous system at specific locations (on muscles, tendons, ligaments, or nerves), and the body responds in its own time, within its vital capacity. While there are a few, very specific situations in which a particular 'procedure' is contraindicated, Bowen Technique is appropriate for people of all ages, in all degrees of health.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? After a car accident in 1994 I couldn't find relief for my back and my right shoulder for over 15 years. My back was always sore and my shoulder cracking ,painful and partially restricted. In 2008 my wife found a Bowen therapist and he gave me my life back. Knowing what being in pain means I decided to learn Bowen Therapy and help people the same way it helped me. My passion is to bring a smile back on the face of everyone who struggles from chronic pain.
