Yoga at iGita teaches a foundation of basic postures and calming breathing exercises. Add a little heat to the equation with hot yoga, practiced at temperatures of 37 to 42 degrees Celsius for deeper poses and sweating out toxins, or defy gravity with aerial yoga, where you can bend into poses while hanging from a fabric hammock. Pilates (hot or regular) helps strengthen core muscles, while Barre class runs through traditional dancer exercises to tone a beautiful physique. All classes are provided in iGita's warm and beautifully renovated studio in downtown Oakville, complete with free mat and towel service and recently upgraded with an OmJuice bar serving yummy smoothies and juices.
