Coming from a small studio space, in the east end of town, this salon was looking for a established neighborhood, with unique shops. Madfactory was born on Mount Pleasant in November of 2005. Looking to emulate a true "boutique" style environment, in a commercial space, that still had the feeling of Madfactorys once loft style feel, we chose many approaches to catch this feeling. Firstly they created an intimate drinks bar at their welcome station, where they offer cappuccino, lattes, regular teas, a wide assortment of herbal teas, red and white wine, and of course H2O. They made the decor of the salon intimate with a division through the middle of the salon, to create a more one on one experience. All services come with extra perks such as, scalp and shoulder massages, hand massages, men's mini facials, and free bang trims.
