Tours run every Saturday at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Distillery tours are typically 45 minutes to an hour in length and include a tasting of select products, the history of how Murphy's Law Distillery came to be, and a walk through of the distillery operation.
*Due to ongoing demand we do ask for reservations to be made at least a week in advance.
About Us:
Attending school in the hills of West Virginia, Ben Murphy was quickly introduced to pure Appalachian Shine and all the goodness that came with it.
While attending Ohio Valley University, Ben became very popular on campus due to his distribution and sale of shine. Did we mention Ohio Valley University was a "dry" University? After graduating with a Bachelor of Psychology Degree, Ben decided to pursue the other knowledge he had gained while attending school, how to run shine.
Upon returning to the family farm in Ontario, Canada, Ben would begin to incorporate his younger brother Sullivan into the operation. The two would begin running their homemade still within one of the barns on the family farm, unbeknownst to their parents of course. After being encouraged by friends and family the brothers would decide to pursue legal sale of their liquid craft.
