What You Get
One week of building and learning about robotics for kids ages six to 14 in multiple cities including Missisauga, Markham, Hamilton and Milton.
Description
It’s usually tough to find experiences for children that are both fun and educational, with limited options like alphabet-soup spelling bees or taping a math test to a pogo stick. Explore other, more enjoyable opportunities for learning with today’s WagJag from Ontario Youth Mind Building Club :
The Ontario Youth Mind Building Club (OYMBC) invites all children ages six to 14 to their robotics camp, a week-long experience that helps open minds and builds practical skills. Kids are each given their own kit with all tools and materials to build a little robot of their own under the guidance of OYMBC’s experienced instructors. The project gets campers to strengthen their motor skills and expand their understanding of practical building methods, using screwdrivers, nuts, bolts and screws to erect their very own motorized robot. The program’s lead instructors have all graduated from reputable university teaching programs, are technologically savvy and provide the kind of warmth and guidance that children need to flourish in a learning environment. Since students each get their own toolkit, they don’t need to wait in line to use certain tools and can focus more on building something exciting.
Camp dates run between July 6 and August 14; view all available locations on our "locations" tab, and select your location and dates from the available list at checkout.
- $149 for one week of robotics camp (up to a $220 value)
- $120 for one short week of robotics camp, August 4-7 (a $180 value)
