There’s nothing mediocre about this middle-distance race. The Spartan Super offers the ideal blend between distance and speed, offering racers a true athletic test. If you consider yourself a more seasoned athlete determined to push beyond excuses, you just might have the mettle for a Spartan Super. Serving up 25 obstacles and 10K of rugged terrain, the Spartan Super spares no one.
Spartan Beast - 21K, 30 obstacles - June 17, 2023
Get ready to push your limits and unleash your inner warrior with the Spartan Beast - a gruelling 21km race packed with 30 obstacles and a challenging elevation gain of 5317 Ft. With an altitude of 5757 Ft., you'll be battling steep, technical climbs that will test your mental and physical endurance to the max. This isn't your average race - the Spartan Beast is designed to push you to your limits and leave you feeling like a true champion. With 30 obstacles scattered throughout the course, you'll need to summon all your strength, courage, and determination to conquer them all. The rugged terrain and steep climbs will put your endurance to the test, but don't let that intimidate you. With the right mindset and training, you can conquer the Spartan Beast and emerge victorious. So get ready to challenge yourself like never before and join the ranks of elite Spartan warriors who have conquered this legendary race.

Start time: Your preferred start time can be selected when you redeem your redemption code from WagJag on ca.spartan.com. Codes are only valid for Open Heats. Start waves do sell out and are based on availability. Not valid for Elite, Age Group, or Early Morning heats.
Check-in: Racers are encouraged to arrive 1.5 hours prior to their start time to ensure they can check in, check their bag, and get to the start line.
Age restrictions: Must be 14+ on race day to participate
Extra $15 Mandatory Service Bundle (includes parking services, bag check, and merchandise discount) due at registration. Customers are responsible for any additional processing fees during registration.

- Online registration is required at least 24 hours in advance of the selected event
- Extra $15 Mandatory Service Bundle (includes parking services, bag check, and merchandise discount) due at registration
- Customers are responsible for any additional processing fees due at registration
- Valid only for option and date purchased
- Must be 14 or older on race day to participate. Anyone under the age of 18 must be with a chaperone age 18+ at all times when at the event
- Must provide 19+ ID to receive alcoholic beverages
- Must provide email address upon purchase at checkout which will be shared to facilitate redemption
- No refunds will be issued for customers who do not sign up after purchase and are not able to participate in the event as a result
