Krav Maga is one of the most powerful and uncompromising variations on the martial arts, an Israeli procedure of hand-to-hand combat that's effective enough to be employed by police and military organizations worldwide. While some more well-known fighting techniques tend to only focus on the competitive, controlled-environment applications of sport, Krav Maga is specifically designed for gaining the upper hand in an unpredictable environment, making it a great choice for self-defence. Main instructor Refael Kashani has been involved in Krav Maga since the age of nine and has assembled an elite team of similarly skilled warriors at The Academy to help train new recruits.
In each one-hour class, learn special skills such as de-escalating conflicts, using common objects to protect yourself, fighting back against larger opponents and theft prevention. All classes are co-ed and open to beginners at all fitness skill levels.
