Catch a glimpse of the royal life as you meander through the illustrious Windsor Castle and discover more about the Queen's Residence and other favourite haunts. Meander along the esteemed walkways of Oxford, the 'city of dreaming spires', knowing that you'll soon be in the vicinity of Shakespeare's own birthplace of Stratford upon Avon. Imagine what it might have been like to court a lady in the Bard's time as you tour around his bride's cottage and pay your respects via soliloquy (or sonnet) by his gravestone at the Holy Trinity Church.

 

The city of York will entice you with its quaintly narrow cobblestone 'Shambles'. Marvel at the exquisite Victorian architecture in The Beatles' birthplace of Liverpool before driving into Chester to explore the half-timbered houses left standing from medieval England. Enjoy a free day in London, where you'll have ample time to twirl through Trafalgar Square or tip your hat to Westminster Abbey.

Take a fascinating tour through the stunning Welsh landscape on the Ffestiniog Railway. Dip and curve along the tracks, led by a heritage steamer billowing clever white puffs into the crisp mountain air. Marvel at the towering peak of Mount Snowdon and the sprawling vibrant landscapes of Snowdonia National Park. From there you'll scurry into Cardiff, the capital of Wales, where you'll traipse through the enormous grounds of St. Fagan's Castle upon which a multitude of the castle's original buildings remain standing.
