Skilled stylists make haircuts fun at Oakville's Melonhead location. Cuts begins with a wash and condition using Melonhead's products made with gentle, botanical ingredients and kid-friendly smells like banana and orange. While kids hang out in a cool plane-, train- or car-shaped chair, stylists quickly cut and dry hair in a style that's easy to maintain and approved by both parent and tot.

With the second option, princesses get an updo complete with sparkles, the tiara of their choice and a loot bag packed with princess jewels. Party bags include necklaces, rings, stickers, princess lollipops, a candy bracelet, a tiara, a wand and a princess tote bag. Pirates can barter for a similar treatment encompassing a hairstyle formed in their favourite pirate 'do and then sprayed with a fun colour. Pirates head home with a bag full of loot including a pirate hat, bandana, earring, skull rings, treasure map, coins, telescope, eye patch, tattoos, pirate lollipop, sword and pirate backpack. Both princess and pirate packages culminate in a photo captured in the salon to take home.
