What You Get
What You Get
Experience the great outdoors with a guided city moonlight, Copeland Forest or Bruce Trail snowshoeing adventure.
Description
There's a reason why the song doesn't go "Slipping in a Winter Wonderland," or "Trudging through a Winter Wonderland in Designer Italian Loafers." Traverse the frozen terrain the only way you should with today's WagJag from Toronto Adventures:
Navigate easily through a wonderland of snow on either of these guided tours, offering an opportunity to exercise and see Canada's wintertime wilderness. Each experience includes snowshoe rentals, a lesson to get you familiar with your new set of snow-kicks and a guided tour. Pass through the forest and marsh of High Park or the Humber Valley River by moonlight, or take off further north for a bit more of an adventure.
Beginning at 9am and ending at 6pm, day trips to the Bruce Trail or Copeland Forest include shuttle bus transportation. Enjoy a brisk walk in the Copeland Forest, part of the 200 km Ganaraska Trail that winds from Port Hope to Glen Huron, or enjoy the scenery of the Bruce Trail, led by a helpful teacher/guide who offers insight into the surrounding wildlife and trail history. Snowshoers of all levels are welcome on this adventure - from those with feet that have only ever sunk in snowbanks before to those who float easily over flurries. Find out about the available snowshoeing tour dates and tour details.
- $29 for a city moonlight intro to snowshoeing experience at High Park or the Humber River Valley for 1 person (a $60 value)
- $39 for a near north intro to snowshoeing guided adventure bus day trip on the Bruce Trail or in the Copeland Forest for 1 person (an $80 value)
