Day 1: Canada - Reykjavik
International flight with WowAir (or similar).
Day 2: Reykjavik
Upon arrival in Iceland, you will exit the arrival hall of the Keflavik airport terminal to embark your Flybus Plus transfer to your hotel. Free time for the rest of the day.
Day 3: South Shore Adventure and Northern Lights Hunt
South Shore Adventure
Breakfast at your hotel. Departure on the South Shore Adventure. Please be in the lobby by 08.15 for tour pickup.
Cross the fertile farmlands in the south of Iceland with stops at majestic waterfalls, a black sandy beach, the surreal
Reynisdrangar rock formations and a folk museum.
Drive along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country's most scenic regions, as far as Vík, a charming village surrounded by beautiful high bird cliffs. Along the way, stop at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which you can walk behind (weather and path conditions permitting). You will also stop at the majestic and much-photographed Skógafoss waterfall and visit the Skógar folk museum, to get a taste of how Icelanders lived in centuries past.
Northern Lights hunt
Tonight take part in a guided northern lights hunt tour. On a dark winter night in Iceland, join a mysterious tour looking for the Aurora Borealis.
From autumn until spring, during clear and cold dark nights it's possible to witness one of nature's most incredible displays: the northern lights, also known as Aurora Borealis. Overnight at your hotel in Reykjavík
Day 4: Day for your own activities
Breakfast at your hotel. Today is open for you to enjoy visiting Iceland your way.
Day 5: The Golden Circle
Breakfast at your hotel. Please be in the hotel lobby at 08.30 for pick up on the Golden Circle tour. Enjoy a introduction to the best-loved natural wonders of Iceland. First, visit Thingvellir National Park, a remarkable historical and geological site which is located by Lake Thingvallavatn, the largest lake in Iceland.
Next up is Gullfoss waterfall where you will see icy water thundering majestically down double ledges into a deep canyon. Nearby is Geysir geothermal area, where bubbling hot springs and geysers bubble away.
Day 6: Relax at The Blue Lagoon
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning departure on the Blue Lagoon tour. Unwind in the milky blue waters of the Blue Lagoon, surrounded by lava pure wilderness. Pick up at your hotel and guesthouse 30 minutes prior to departure. A bus will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Blue Lagoon. This is an unguided transfer.
After having enjoyed all the amenities of the Blue Lagoon, take one of the scheduled tour buses back Reykjavik. Overnight in Reykjavík.
Day 7: Day at leisure.
Breakfast at your hotel. Today is open for you to enjoy visiting Iceland your way. Optional tours are available ranging from traditional sightseeing to soft adventure activities. Overnight stay in Reykjavík.
Day 8: Reykjavik
Breakfast at your hotel. Please be prepared to leave the hotel about 3 hours before the departure of your flight. Fly Bus transfer from Reykjavík to Keflavík airport for your flight back home.
